Don't know a damn thing about those, but you're right, it appears to be in exceptional condition given its age. Looks like a fun, little rocket.

Black upholstery = 3rd degree burns. Ouch!

Sharp looking though.

Built by Eliminator. Looks to be a later version of the original Daytona that started the Eliminator Cat line. If I remember correctly, it all started with a 19' model. The motor is nice for its age. Whomever owned it originally put all the right pieces on it when they rigged it. Looks to be very well kept. Obviously not a rough water boat but would be a blast on the inland lakes. I recall one on the chain of lakes in Ill that really ran well and aired out nice. They used to do a great job on the upolstery in those days.

Advantage made the same boat named the "Banshee". Maybe bought the molds from eliminator?? Well built boat, heavier and not as fast as STVs or Mirages but a lot tougher to break. There was not very many of those made.

HA! That's pretty funny.

Anyway, it is a great boat. A buddy owns the same boat but with a 454 and Berkley Jet. Fun boat on the lake.

Eliminator's been building boats since 1969. While the 19' pickle was most likely one of their longest running built boats (they still build them and actually have a beautiful brand new one in their show room...see attached pic), they started buiding boats with an 18' V flatty. Soon after came the 19 pickle.

gotta be careful sitting in sloppy water tho, the water line actually comes over the top of the rub rail while it sits in the water. I couldn't believe it when I first saw it.:drink:

Anyway, great boat.

Eliminators (even the old ones) have some of the best glass and gel work you'll see.
Have a buddy w/a very similar 21' Version w/a 300 HP V-8 on it. I think I counted 11 colors of gel, a lot of very narrow stripes and no bleed anywhere.
They're a blast to drive especially w/the bow in the air. Drove my buddies past him w/3' under the sponsons and don't think he started breathing again until I got out of it :) Large fun.

Burned a bunch of gas at the lake in the pix's.

Probably worth $6 - $10K based on condition. You will get beat up because it doesn't have a black motor on it though.
I bought a virgin STV off a buddy yrs back for $10K completely rigged. Was a $15K rig but no one wanted it w/the JohnRude on it.
I ran it two yrs and sold it for $10K w/o the motor ;)
Some people (buyers) just don't think.

Don't take it personally. The rules apply to everyone.

have you run the boat yet? I have run some similar and they are a blast out on the lakes. go play with it and you may decide you like it than you think.
