I was thinking of removing the black marine carpet and rewraping them with indoor white carpet....should be ok??

I just use a piece of soft carpet remnant, glued to the stop. Been doing that for years, and have had no marks.

The grey silicon/rubber pads from Myco are fine. Just shoot them with a little spray silicone, Plexxus, or NautiCare before you load the boat. No marks and boats slides up slick as AstroGlide. :D

This is what I was talking about. I use this for spot cleaning the boat all year. Just shoot a coat of this ON the Myco rubber/silicone pads before loading, and it works great!! NO MARKS.
