Default Solomons Grand Prix 2011 vids

I took some videos with my GoPro during the races on Sunday. We were one of the pace boats. I have six or seven of them....but only have one uploaded to YouTube so far. Taking off of work for a five day weekend has it's disadvantages .....like 472 emails to go through

Anyway, here is the first one. Going around the course checking for debris along with Geoff Wanamaker in his T/S TopGun. Big thanks to him for being the title sponsor (Bayside Chevrolet)

Thanks Mikey. You did one HELL of a job as race director. Great weekend!!!

I'll post the others tonight. In the parade lap video for the second race there is about a ten second part where I'm sending sawdust and wood chunks out of my roostertail.

Checked the props after I got back out of the water yesterday.....not one nick on them!

Next up, the parade lap before the first race start. Classes 3, 5 and 6.

I'm new with the GoPro, so this is just the raw video. My wife is working on the editing part to make them better....

Pretty cool Craig!

I was in a wedding in NJ and couldn't make it but heard it was a fun time and the rain held out for you guys. My sisters team finished 2nd and 3rd.

Class 6 got let go at about 53-55 mph. You can see that my tachs were at 3500 rpm's if you look at the vid in full screen mode. I think that Lock'd Up broke out before the starting line. Not sure WTF the red boat that was in my wake was doing. Clear directions were given that all boats were to stay outside of the pole position boat (Wazzup II).

Hi Fast, how is school? Hope all is well with you and race team!

Old School, I am sure you performed as you where told, however not looking to create an issue. Also your motors Tachs have really zero to do with the way the video showed the starts for all classes...the video for class 3-5 is a pretty good example...the boat wake is all over the course... Again more interested in what the racers have to type then reading about tachs...and break outs. It appears that we may have some racer confirmation from at least one party - Fast .
