I know this is a fairly standard disclaimer you've heard many times, but just make sure your Mercury Racing 525EFI is out of warranty before you install any kit. That has nothing to do with the reliability or performance of the kit. It's just that any modification to the 525, or any Mercury Racing engine, voids the warranty, and that warranty is built into the retail price of the engine. In other words, you paid for it and would be ill-advised to void it before it expires.

Cool!
One more standard disclaimer, your stock Bravo XR drive cannot handle that much power. So a drive upgrade is part of the overall equation.
Don't want to rain on anyone's parade—I wouldn't have reported on the upcoming kit if I didn't believe it was newsworthy—but just want to be complete. All hefty power upgrades have downstream costs and effects.
One more standard disclaimer, your stock Bravo XR drive cannot handle that much power. So a drive upgrade is part of the overall equation.
