Clearwater races funday with the crew
 

Well headed it out with my fiance and the usual crew to meet up with Paradox (Pete) to anchor and watch the races, HAD A BLAST. Saw a few people along the way which I don't know personally just from OSO and their boats such as Cigdaze (boat looked great by the way). Overall a Great fun day out on the water here are some pics!

Was a great turnout. Just wish there were boats racing.

Fun times on the water. I can't believe however I was actually cold running down from NPR around 9:15+- AM.

Thank you, I see you guys when I was running south to have lunch at The Pub and then headed home, it was a great say to be out on the water, that's why we live in Fl.

Hey Nick! Sorry we missed you. What would you say the seas were heading up there and then returning home? Trying to gauge settings, etc.

I'd say it was consistent 2's, with an occasional 3. Wasn't too bad at all. At midnight the evening before I was a bit nervous though as the wind was howling 30+. Calm by morning however.

where is the pub? We were trying to find somewhere the eat, jimmyguanas had no parking at all and we knew shepherds was going to be a madhouse trying to anchor with all of the boat traffic.

If you were with the guys in the Avanti I saw in one of your pics you were very close to the Pub. I saw you guys turning around near Jimmy Guanas. I also saw several boats that I recognized from out on the course as I drove by the Pub.

Yeap that was us, Paradox was in his 33 avanti and I was in my 27 with outboards we couldn't find parking at jimmyguanas and I guess the girls wanted to go to shepherds so that's where we headed after.

I know about the parking. I nosed up to teh dock to let the girls off for a potty break then left. Are you in the area??

Yeah I'm pretty close I live in Tampa and usually take the boat out anywhere what about u?

One of our friends got a good picture of the boat while underway, here it is. All the hard work I put into the boat has paid off, it is a blast to drive!!

I'm in St Pete now, in Maximo Moorings. I trailered to Bay Pines and ran up from Johns Pass for the race. Those Avanti's looked great.

Thanks! I've been to Bay Pines quite a few times. I've been thinking, before the cold winter comes all bay area boaters should get together and have a fun run since we all live relatively close to each other and basically boat in the same area. Anybody up for it, something along the lines of meeting up and riding for a while to wherever everyone wants to go, anchor up, party?

We are putting a run together that is "somewhat" in your area for next weekend. I will be launching in Sanibel and coming north, but some are running down from south of sarasota if you guys wanna tag along all are welcome.

I'm in is someone has an extra seat or 2. I have sold my boats and will probably hold back until at least next summer. I do occasionally have access to other boats as I did with the race.

Florida gator I got room for you, I'm sure Paradox will be able to join us as well. When would be a good date for everyone?

I have my kids every other weekend, not this weekend. Other than that I'm pretty open.

I'm in New Jersey, not sure my agenda yet.
