BatBoat Video
As some of you know, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 10 yeasr ago. A double mastectomy, radiation, and chemo later, she has been "cancer free" fro 5 years. Over the winter, we totally reworked a V24 batBoat into a Breast Cancer Awareness themed boat in which we show at an event just about every other week or so. We hand out information, along with tons of pink mardis gras beads. Some of you may have seen us at the LOTO Street Party and Shootout. This video will be shown as we are pulled out onto the ice at a Jr. A hockey game on Friday. After the introduction, I have about 15 people that will be on the ice with me and we will "make it rain" pink beads. We have about 5000 to throw into the crowd. I hope you enjoy the video (I have another version with AC/DC Thunderstruck, but copyrights get in the way), and with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I hope we all think about it for just a bit. I am thankful that St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids, along with 6 other sponsors were able to share the vision that we had a year ago.
