found a stryker 2150 but i need help

Found this boat its in real good shape. The guy is moving out of state and needs it gone. Only problem is he said it needs a new drive gear. Im new to boats and unsure what this is or how much its gonna cost. He only wants $1900 for it. Please let me know what this is going to cost

Just found out from the owner its a alpha one drive

you can get a complete sei aftermarket alpha drive w/ 3 yr warrenty for about $1200.. probably cheaper than having someone go into it and fix it.
