Did it a few years ago. You don't tie up at a dock, most coves have anchored bouys that you tie off to and then someone comes by in a dinghy to collect the fee. I want to say it was 25-35 bucks a night. We had a boat that was 50'+, I don't see those on the website. I guess they phased them out.

Last year we had a group of about 50 on seven boats....good time to say the least.

What ever you do charter a Cat not a V-Hull First year mistake for us Cat is very easy to drive and a must have for space the Mooring 474 is huge compared to the Lagoona 44

I haven't been yet, but more than half of our group has done this multiple times. The cost for the boat and provisions is $1000 per person and our airfare was just about $500 per. The ferry from St. Thomas to Tortola is $60 each. We are not having Captains provided and will take care of that ourselves, but my friends said that it is a good idea for your first time.

So, the cost is basically $3120 per couple for everything....plus drinks and meals at bars:drink::drink:

PS- I don't know if we got a discount for renting five boats.... bUt I do know that we are going to have one hell of a party with our 40 people!!!!!!! :D

After talking to a buddy last night, I rememebered we went with Voyager:

The bigger boats are the way to go if you're going to have eight people aboard.

Here is a Tradewinds video that is kinda cool. I have not chartered so cannot make a recommendation for a charter company. I can tell you tho that it a very popular thing in the BVI and people just keep coming back for more.
