Birth of the Beak: Fountain Hull No. 1 Lives at Shogren Performance Marine
I categorized this one under "Projects and Restorations" on speedonthewater.com because that's where it fit best, but the truth is this one just happens to be in amazing shape because it's been taken care of, http://speedonthewater.com/boat-rest...ce-marine.html.

I recall it having a pretty hefty asking price tag too last yr or so. Kinda a read between the lines price

I have no idea what the price is ... or that it was even for sale. (Wait, everything is for sale.) I just wrote it up as something kind of cool from a historical perspective. I learned a bunch of things I didn't know in putting together this story.

"This 12 Meter Executioner was Fountain's first "beak" boat," you wrote, it is a 10 meter. Boat looks good.

If memory serves me correctly, that boat was out behind the Fountain factory about 5 or 6 years ago when I was there. It was getting some work done on it. BTW, the seats are certainly not original. They are from a much newer boat.

I was at Shogrens last week. Seen it, and it's pretty darn clean.

That didn't come up in my research on the boat, but I certainly don't doubt it.
