Might try to get over to the factory (Jays)on Sat.Do u know if he has a 30 almost complete to look at?As,for the new 30 I wanna keep up with this rig as it comes to life,any idea when the first one will roll off.also,is KE power cheaper then Merc.or do u get more motor for the money?I have a budget with my partner because this is one major expense in our eyes,so we need to cover all aspects when it comes to power.Power is are major concern with amenities taking a back seat.Where even thinking about a big Spectre Graphics on the side with the swirl sweeping the side.Speed is are concern and in the building process its cheaper to do it then rather then later.:D

Good seeing you this weekend. I guess I was fortunate in missing the Party.
He has two 30's coming together right now but only 36's in final rigging . As for power. While the KE power option is very desirable it will definatley cost you more. Spectre has orders on several sets of the new 525's with swept headers. That should be a fantastic package coupled with XR's and Sportmaster Lowers. Provided Mercury can keep the XR's stable. I believe you would be making a wise decision going with stock power and a great paint job. A huge logo streatched across the boat would be cool. 525's should get you 113-115 mph. Thats real fast..learn to handle that before stepping up to high horsepower options. Maximus picture is of mike colemans new 30 w/500's- Bad to the bone!! |
