Racing sees it's shares of wrecks week in & out in each & every series. It's been awhile since someone has lost their life in one of the top tiers. It's been a reality check to the fact that even though driver safety & the cars have improved we're still very vulnerable.

At some point they will start to slow them cars down a little and maybe put a lid over the cockpits... Too much debris comes at the driver at 200 mph.... Look at most of the drivers killed in open wheel racing in the last 15 yrs has been injuries caused by debris...
Sad time for racing!! You will be missed Dan!

I agree with Craig, they need a better cage and lid for the drivers.

I just watched his in car camera...Its amazing how quick our lives can be taked from us.....RIP and God bless his family
