The best running rough water straitbottom Vhull is the Sutphen. Would easily run in the mid 80's with 2 small blocks or 2 425's. Walter Collins, in his 39 Sutphen won class 3 in the OPA worlds. Richie Sutphen's factory number is 239-574-1155.

Just because they win a race doesnt mean they are the "the best running rough water straight bottom"
Really? How many 38-41' straight bottom boats have you been in in really rough water?

The 30 Cigarette Mystique is a Twin Step bottom now. You'd have to find a used one to get the straight bottom version, or have Cigarette custom build one to spec for your customer.

Maybe you should look back to the days when there were no steps , or even to the early days of steps, Richie Sutphen held the kilo record and his boats dominated most classes the ran in !
