The best running rough water straitbottom Vhull is the Sutphen. Would easily run in the mid 80's with 2 small blocks or 2 425's. Walter Collins, in his 39 Sutphen won class 3 in the OPA worlds. Richie Sutphen's factory number is 239-574-1155.

Maybe you should look back to the days when there were no steps , or even to the early days of steps, Richie Sutphen held the kilo record and his boats dominated most classes the ran in !
