33 ft Mirage
I am looking for any infomation on a 32.7 foot Mirage boat . Probably around the late 80's or early 90's . Any information on Mirage in general would be apprecitated . I have found lots of storys on the race boats but would like some info on one that May have had outboards and a bracket .
Thanks , Brian |
They were built in Miami 80s by estani cortes great marine carpenter /plug maker. hE BUILT THE 29,32 AND 36FT MIRAGE.The boats are hard to find built like tanks lot of power for them to really move.

We raced a 29' Mirage back in the early 90's. The boat was a 1979 model if I remember correctly. It was real heavy, built like a tank and we beat the crap out of it. We raced it for four years, the owner sold it to another guy who raced it for a few years and last I saw it (two years ago) it was still racing in P-5 class.

I know where a 36 ft Mirage is sitting that needs a restoration.. been sitting for a least 10-12yrs . dont know if its for sale , but I will find out if anyone wants me to. Tom

Hi Tom , what condition is it in? stored inside with cover or left outside in the snow? I have not seen many 36 mirages around, what do you think it would be worth?

This is the sister boat to your boat that Pat ran in the 80's. It is what I used to watch go blasting down the bay as a young teenager and say to myself, self, "one day that will be you!" A couple years later, I met up with that crew who then had your boat after selling the B-33 and never looked back since! Sad to say that the boat pictured burned to the waterline shortly after it was sold. |

It has been sitting outside with a cockpit cover on it. it has no motors or drives in it right now , but i know the owner has them. It used to have gale banks turbo motors in it and speedy 3's. I know there all in peices right now. it has a red hull and is sitting on a steel trailer. Trailer has been redone within the last 4-5 yrs. Have no Idea what it would be worth , not to many of them around . Tom

About 10 years ago I saw an ad for a , I think, 32' Mirage with twin big blocks and jet drives. Seems like it was a mid 80s That had never been sold. When I saw it an equipment dealer in KY had traded for it. Intresting boat. I wonder how it would run.
