Default Muddy MO Flooding

I have not been around for a few days cause I have been moving my stuff. Because of the river coming up I lost my house. They are not putting this on the national news cause weiner is more important. You can look at some pics at leevalley.net It sucks but you really find out who your friends are in a situation like this

Very Sorry to hear about your house. You must be pretty close to the river. Are you in Blair or farther north?? We have not really had anything major in the city of Omaha, but time will tell. The levy's were designed for short term high water, not for months of sustained high water like we are going to have. Eppley Airport is in real danger. The water is actually seeping up through the ground. Council Bluffs is in real danger and a levy breach would take out 30-50% of the city of Council Bluffs.
I also have friends in Mo Valley and they have emptied their houses and are preparing for the worst.
Anyone wanting to see more about the flooding should go to MWBP and check out the pics.

Randy,
I don't even know what to say. I am so sorry about this. Last time we talked it sounded like you were going to be spared of this. I wish I was closer to help you out. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Tom

Here is a large collection of pics from about 100 miles north of Omaha and about a 100 miles south. Its unreal. I didn't even realize how bad it was.

I talked to Randy today and his house would be very close to the pics where it shows a marina with water up to the roof. That is about 40 miles north of Omaha near Blair, NE.
