We ran the boat yesterday with 3/4 fuel and 3 people. I was suprised how hard it ran.

Cool video. Todays Special?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think I met you at the regatta this year?

That would be 1400 ponies.

Seems about right to me.

Nascats Skater runs 133 with 710's and Indy drives so this seems about right.

In a smaller boat with more power.

Theoretically equal power.

Although I think even though its a couple feet longer (depending on how one actually measures the boat) the DCB likely uses foam coring which will result in a lighter boat whereas the skater uses balsa which is stiffer, but a bit heavier.

Thing with those Merc 700's is they can be leaned on with kits to make a bunch more power for real cheap, and its common. One never really knows if the playing field is level in this regard.

Impressive either way.

F-32 with the Whipple Upgrade kits for the 700's runs 150+ mph...

This is 32 at 135 mph is right about where all of them with 700's/NXT's run...

Nice choice JL, love the boat...

Hey John,
Beautiful boat, looks awesome, and runs that way too .
I still love the west coast bling, and DCB is the king of that.
Congratulations,
Steve

Thanks guys. I know DCB F32's run 130 plus with 700's. I am just so happy with this boat, by far the best boat I have ever owned, and for lake use probably one the best period. Nothing like 130 plus with 700's and having a cabin to get in and take a rest. Best of both worlds
