Default PSIRacing 6 Cylinder Eliminator...Finally 129MPH

Went out yesterday on sunday and finally got my new turbo back and finally got a Labbed 34 Bravo 1 on the boat...Must say Boating in the florida keys has to be some of the nicest water...excellent go fast conditions and temperature had to be in the mid 70's....Beautiful day!! And guys I cant even belive it myself but ran 129mph....I have to say im beyond impressed on how the boat felt at that speed....and I cant believe still my project has reached that kind of speed....unfortunately i didnt get a video and had purchased a brand new go pro HD Hero the day before just for sundays run...I will retest shortly cause we all know a video is what its all about...

Thanks,
Brendan

Seriously Congrats!!
Really impressive I allways wondered why this wasn't done before. Well, now it has and I'm sure its just the begining.

Very impressive to say the least !!

And yes I agree the water in the Keys is phenominal, I grew up running the waters from southern Key Largo to the upper parts of Marathon and I gotta say I miss that part of it from time to time !!

a 2j! That is one hell of a motor. Did you do anything internally to it?

I had 3 Street/Drag Supras all making over 1200rwhp about 5 years ago....

One with 1400rwhp+ with a 2spd glide...car ran 8.19@181mph...

You cannot kill that motor with 1000hp...I'm glad seeing it running in a marine application!

Stock rods/Pistons will hold about 800torque before they die...

Rods and Pistons in the block, she'll hold 1200 no problem...stroke it out, and you make even bigger power, but it's one of the finest power plants to come out, the heads don't flow over 315cfm..that was the only drawback, you can CNC them to get about 340 but it's a big lift and have to run a very aggressive duration to flow. For the kind of power I think you're pushing, that looks like a small shaft 63? It must be fantastic...

Thanks guys, sorry I didnt get a video but trust mee, im working on some minor changes and working on making sure that thing is safe to push it some more to go test it again and push it harder. That run was at 33psi at about 7800rpm and i knew it was moving when I seen the rpm's climbing as quickly as they were...I knew with the 34 pitch bravo and 7500rpm on the prop calculator that it would go roughly 125...when i saw 7500rpm coming and going I knew was on a amazing run...and its pretty crazy that The 25 Daytona is so stable at speed, granted conditions where excellent and the run was made into the wind...Ill retest soon and get you guys a good video

Thanks,
Brendan
