Wow looking for a 40 ft + cat. I take it you haven't owned a cat? I would recommend calling for insurance first. As for the best cat!!! That all depends how deep your pockets are. I would say start with Mystic big shooter and work your way down from there. If your looking for cheaper there are other makes such as Skaters, Mti, Outerlimits, Nortechs actually Statement looks to have nice fit and finish. Good luck on your search!! It is a buyers market

Rough Extreme Speed = SKATER, MYSTIC, MTI , Outerlimits
Rough In General = Skater, MTI, Outerlimits, Doug Wright...
All Around = MTI - Nortech, Outerlimits, DCB, Motion
Ocean = SKATER, MYSTIC
CALM = Jesus man take your pic...
This thread is another waste...how much money do you have...that's what it comes down to...and how fast do you want to go?
Rather than finding the perfect cat, why don't you find a "search button"
+1 Scott, agreed...great first post..there have only been 500 posts like this all around...
and scarab is right, if you have to ask this, you obviously are not in the sport heavily...and relying on people on a web board to tell you how to spend a few hundred grand, not the best, go find what you like, run em , and go from there...
if you've never run a cat and looking for this, insurance will laugh at you..
