Tampa Air show.

Anyone for a raft up next weekend at the Tampa air show?
Thunderbirds on Nov 5-6 at the base.
Sometimes these guys fly so close to the boat fleet, we could read the call signs on the helmets. :)

We're planning on being there. I absolutely love the MacDill Airshow, and the F-16 Thunderbirds are awesome. Hopefully, next weekend isn't like this weekend.

My sis lives right down the road from MacDill. This may be a good excuse to point the car south for 3 hours......Thanks for the HU.

I think I go out on Saturday.

I think that is entirely possible. :drink:

I'll be at the Cocoa Beach Airshow with the Miss Geico team.

Anyone else seeing a pattern here? :evilb:

Sweet! Also very jealous of your pattern.

I can say I am missing this cause of a 7 day cruise, so it could be worse.

So, did anyone go? We went out Sunday by boat, and I didn't see anyone in a go fast. Pretty small crowd, too. I guess the wind kept most people tied to the docks. It was an awesome ride back, lots of airtime. :evilb:

Mostly overcast, intermittent rain all day, but still a fun time in Cocoa.
Went to the pilot's meeting with Miss Geico team and met this cowboy along with a lot of the other pilots. Very cool. :drink:

The ocean was too rough to splash the boat.

You can get an idea from the surf in this shot.
The guys putting on the rescue demo were really in it.

Awesome, Jay! How cool was that?! Nice shots.

jayboat 11-07-2011 09:18 AM

Those guys put on a helluva show.
And I should mention the crew of that sailboat-
those studs were anchored there as a mark point for the pilots.

All day.

Planned on going, but I spent 2 days in the ER. Just got home, after a thousand of tests, Nuke test, stress test, every imaginable blood test. etc. At the end of the day these "so called doctors" have no clue. I was told I was in great health. So why my heart is skipping and missfireing? Missing a beat now and then? (2-4 every 5 min.) The dude sais. don't worry about it, get use to it.. you'r fine. So.. OK.. I'm fine... good news.
Glad it was a good show everywhere.

Thanks guys. It takes a lot to keep me out of the water, but it's a scary feeling when your heart stops for a second or two. I had to check it out. Nothing wrong, but we/they don't know why it's doing it. At least, I'm not worrying about it too much now.
