Has anybody used these boat covers?

I'm looking for a cheap cover to use to protect my new boat cover and saw these in the Overton's catalog. I know it might sound silly to use a cover to protect a cover, but I store the boat outside and I would rather have the dirt, bird crap, etc on a cheap cover that I replace every few years instead of on my nice fitted cover...

Yes, a friend of mine covers his cover with one on several boats, it works pretty well. I would not use it as the only protection, but as an overcoat it's not bad.

Thanks...I'm not looking for any protection really, just something that will keep my real cover in good condition. I will probably go ahead and order one of these...

Thx!!

I bought one of the 32' long ones as shown in the pic you posted it lasted two years, keeps sun off and gel coat from fading and dirt off boat, I would order one again if they fit the longer boat I have now, just be careful not to snag on cleats etc. when pulling on it, the material will rip easier the older it gets, Fred
