Interesting points of view across the board here guys thanks. And thanks for keeping it civil.

Basically as mentioned before I'm looking for best bang for the buck and quality used pieces are fine or new. Boat is currently cut for 6's (budget would dictate wetsump) but ok with going in other routes as well.

Power is a set of 555's NA pump gas motors from my guys at Champion Performance with expected speeds in the 120 range most likely. I'm not looking to be the fastest out there by any means. Reliablility, cost and handling manners top the lists of must haves...but then again its boating so I probably get to pick one or two lol

If the boat is cut for 6s that's prob the easiest and most cost effective, especially used. Harder to find the others used.
