theres lots of those old lads around here too......I know its the way they came but they should ditch the white hull, leave them natural wood, looks much better.

I have long admired these old Chris Craft cabin cruisers and boats of similar design. It seems a shame that this style of boat has completely given way to the European express variety that dominates the market. This article makes a great point. Here is a real neat interview with the designer of Chris Craft's first Commander, the 38.
