Everyone is ok, except Matt Stevenson (owner) may have a broken shoulder.

On a side note...many keep describing this as a "monster bash" crash (because of the event going on out there this weekend. Just to clear it up, this crash didn't have anything to do with the event. A bunch of boats were heading up to the Naked Pirate Bar at Topac when this occurred.

Default DCB M35s Orange 1350s M8s

The boat that rolled and sunk, apparently didnt the turn at the sandbar..

The boat was the DCB M35s "Orange" Miami Boat Show Boat"
with Merc 1350s and M8s

Horrible news, glad he's ok, was a beautiful boat...

Monster Bash or Desert Storm is not allowed by the agencies involved with permitting these events to ever have card stops upriver.

At the Saturday night party they announced that the driver had some broken ribs, but was going to be OK and that all aboard were wearing lifeline jackets and that probably is why they didn't have any worse injuries. There was no alcohol involved and they weren't going that fast, 45-50 was stated.
Glad the people are ok, the boat will be fixed I assume.
