Thanks. No worries. I'm mostly a lake boater but I make occasional runs to the St Lawrence.

In keeping with Glastron's tradition of movie boats, the CV-27 was in the 1981 movie "Honky Tonk Freeway" Story was about a Florida circus attraction that featured a water skiing elephant. We sold the production company a CV-27,replaced the stock 23" cleaver props with 15" 3 blades. The skiis were actually a small barge that looked like water skiis that the elephant stood on with a trainer. The boat planed off the elephant on the "skiis" and it looked pretty cool, but the movie was a flop. The production company sold the boat for about half price after the filming, but unfortunately they would not let me buy it back. Those were good days in the boat business

Wow what an interesting story. I never knew about that. I'd just love to see some pictures or even get hold of a copy of the movie.

Was that boat an '81? It looks identical to mine.

You can see it at about 4:54
