Merc drive alignment tool

Just wondering if anyone has a Merc Bravo alignment tool they don't need any more or where the best place to get one is. I'm looking for a friend, his engine is going back in and will need one soon. Thanks guys!

Try ebay. I bought mine new and it was around $100. Cheap investment.

If your just using it to put a motor back in you should try to borrow one from someone in your area.

A nice tool to have. I always check my alignment when greasing the drive.

whoya - nice piece and even nicer price!

Curious, if I remember right someone said the actual merc tool utilizes a guide at the gimbal to ensure the shaft is centered. Is that included here as well? If not is it available seperately???

whoya 11-08-2011 09:11 PM

Miss Bud= Just read this, I will give you a call in the morning or you can message me thru Ebay. Joe

Fantastix= Sorry I don't have the centering piece. I heard it was needed more for the TRS.

Knot 4 Me 11-09-2011 07:31 AM

I bought mine from Merc and it has the centering piece but I've never used it on a Bravo drive.

That is a great price on this tool. Wish I would have known about these before buying the Merc tool.

Just go to one of my items and shoot me a message and include your email. I can invoice you straight thru Paypal with your Email address. I just need your zip code to put in a UPS shipping amount.
