Finally bought a boat to take on some bigger water
I found this boat locally and decided to get it. You would never guess what year it is by looking at it. It is a '78. It's a Glastron Carlson CV-27. It has twin 350's with alpha drives. I don't know much about how it rides or handles since I haven't had a chance to put it in the water. It will have to wait until next season since I just winterized it. It only has 300 hours on it and seems to be a real survivor.

A very rare find,Art Carlson was way ahead of his time with this model. We sold a few new ones back in the day,one of my favorite boats of all time.It was actually sort of copied after the larger Riva 2000.Congrats on finding this nice example of a real classic.

Thanks. I've always been a fan of the Art Carlson era of Glastrons so when this came up for sale I knew what it was. I've never owned a boat anywhere near this big though so it is going to take some getting used to.
