Default Cat insurance

Does this sound resonable?

25 Daytona

$2500 Deductible
$500,000 Liability

$1800 yr

I thought this was decent unless anyone can refer me elsewhere.

Thanks

That is a good rate. Stay away from State Farm, they cancelled the insurance policy on my 26' DCB cat after 3 months. It took them that long to figure out it was a cat, and then sent me a nice cancellation notice in the mail (this was long after I sent them pictures of the boat).

BTW: where did you get that quote from? The best I could find was $2500.00

Have had my insurance with them for over over 3 years now
no problems
they have over a dozen pics of my boat inside, outside, underneath, transom, the works.
BTW, my agent has even ridden in my boat upto 75mph
Not sure but amybe since I have only had one car accident, no tickets and only one boat claim that was no fault of mine in the last 13 years maybe they like me

Thanks for the responses.

I have tried all of the local insurance company's. They claim anything over 50 mph is uninsureable. I am surprised at the cheap quotes. Are v's that much less expensive to insure?
