Not to change the subject but the members here that have posted video should in my opinion load a respectful song so that the stupid comments made by bystanders can not be heard.

Am I missing something here? Just did not seem to be that off the wall to me. She may not fully understand boat racing, pretty close when she compares to NASCAR. She expressed condolences to family, hopes other racers will try to be safe. Understands that the risk is by choice and driven by the love and thrill of the sport. What exactly is the big deal here? Other than she is young and may not be directly connected to the sport in some way.

Only thing I noted is that she said it's a "bad sport".
Thought it was basically an outsider's view of a tragedy. The story about the deaths got picked up by the wire services, so was in a lot more local sports sections than you'd ever see if it was a "normal" race weekend, so a lot more folks got exposed to what was a very bad week for boat racing.
Maybe she's stupid, but I don't see this video as an example of stupidity.

I am pretty offended by some of the comments on her video made by people from this site. Your comments are far more juvenile and offensive than anything she had to say. I like to think we in the offshore community are a better class of people than the regular public, but comments like these remind me that on a site this large, you are going to get some trash as well.

I think the disrespect lies behind the reason the video was posted in the first place. There are trolls on youtube that thrive on "views" and some actually profit from it. They post these clips with titles like "two die in boat crash" on the hope that after a tragic event this is the first tag line that is searched.
