Chapter 7 liquidations are always tough. There usually is no time for an orderly wind down. People with deposits on boats are SOL cause they are unsecured creditors. Mercury may have not been paid for those engines. Does the Sutphen have engines in it?

That 41 Apache would have to be loaded on a trailer. Frankly it's only worth 10k in my opinion, its a damaged hull with out a front deck. By the time you have a deck engines and rigging you could buy a used one and have it rebuilt.

Pack your bags Dave your moving to Holland lol Well you would be if I could find my money tree

Unfortunate they are splitting everything up and not asking a decent # for the company instead. I thought $400k for four models was way too steep in this economy. Called the broker to see if he is still involved and he's not. Keep in mind the company name, etc is NOT included with any of this. Looks like this time Powerquest will be split up for good, too bad cause its a great opportunity. One I'd jump on if I could.

In case someone is interested in the molds -- take note that the molds are being offered by sealed bid by Dec 6.

I would imagine that if they don't go that way they will be offered in the online auction on the 13th...

Woogie -- what was the issue with Octavian? not a normal redo if you're taking the half the deck off...
