Got a pic?

I dont know why, but in my mind I also think the teak compliments certain colors or visa versa.

I.e. blues, teals, white

And clashes with reds, yellows, oranges, purples.

Could just be because I usually see these color non perf boats with wood though.

I added Plasteak to my 45 Formula and it looks awesome but it is freaking HOT!!!! Don't think I would do it again.

I was thinking of going with the light colored style. They say this won't burn your feet.

Other than the heat I love the product. If the new Coolteak works
I would not hesitate if it's the look you want.

That looks really nice! But I agree, it has to fit the style of the rest of the boat...

That's why I'm prolly going to try and stick with earth tones for the upholstery if I do the real floor

Hull has to have classic lines and a simple yet tasteful paint job. An example would be Cigarette's Top Fish Center console. I saw a pick of one with a single color hull (red) and tan vinyl seats and the teak floor. It looked very classy, yet maintained a sporty look.

Didn't the Playboy Cig's have a teak floor? I think on the right boat it looks awesome. I LOVE the teak on the old school Mistresses etc. My 24 Cig had an all teak dash and trim, got compliments everywhere I went because it was so different in a performance boat.

As others have stated, it is unbearably hot in the sun. Since you are asking about its use in a high performance boat, I would be curious as to how much it weighs per linear foot.
