Great story! working on cleaning up my first "real boat", a 272 Formula right now and I think this story will inspire me to do something absolutely crazy (that can be easily removed). something that will really make me stand out as a real idiot at the boat dock, and then see where the pictures show up. Hood scoop, mabe a spoiler on the back. what about one of those resonating mufflers from a Honda? Will have to put some thought into this..... OH! How about a davit on the bow with a 17' canoe as a "tender" on a 27' boat? Maybe add a fake fountain beak to my Formula?

gotta work on this, my kids will love it! Thanks for sharing.

I was sitting in a local dock bar hangout just minding my own business one night. The guy next to me was a bit buzzed and coming on to this chick next to him, hard. I don’t know how they got to this part of the conversation but it did catch my attention when I herd him say something about a red boat at the pier. My boat. A couple minutes go by and he gets up to go to the john and the chick then says to me, “I wasn’t really interested in him but he’s got a cool boat.” I was like, “that boat?” as I picked up my keys off the bar. She nodded and I said, “ya that’s a nice boat, you all have good night and be safe out there” then walked down the pier, jumped in and took off. According to the bartender thing got real ugly after I left.
