jb: I'll be there but not entering. I refuse to beat the boat that much, my back can't take it, and my son is graduating form high school next Sunday so I have to go back late Saturday afternoon.

There's a deal for members of the 1000 Islands Power Boating Club for reduced entry fee of $390. You save $160 on the entry fee and it costs $50 to join the club.

Sure is tough to bet on the weather this year. Wasn't very nice last year either, if I remember corectly.

I plan on running in it with a few members of the 1000 Island Powerboat Club. We are spending Friday and Saturday in the bay. I hope to see some of you at Bootleggers on Friday night maybe.
Sterndrive Spec says he is planning on running in it also. I sure hope the weather is good. Last year it was God awful.

Our 7th annual offshore fun run is scheduled for July 20 2002. Last year we had over 50 boats join us. Membership is $50 ayear. This fee will give all members free dockage at Bonnie Castle and a Cookout at the end of the run. There is a poker hand plan with the run that will require an additional fee.
