need opinions on which boat to buy!
Hey guys, so I'm having trouble deciding on what to buy for this upcoming season, my choice is between 3 different boats, all in the 25 grand range, I'd like some input on them. Here's the choices.
-1999 28' challenger twin 502 mags, bravo ones, hydraulic steering 28p mirage props, nice clean boat runs 75mph
-1998 28' prototype single 625hp 540ci, headers, bravo one 30p mirage, 3800lb boat, hydro steering owner says runs 85 and handles rough stuff great!
-1994 profile 29v with a sc600 merc bravo one hydro steering, new interior and custom boat wrap. Owner says runs 70mph at 5000rpm but should be running in the 5300-5500 mark.
What do you guys think about my choices, I've been having a hell of time deciding.
Thanks

My only advice since I have no experience with any of the boats you have listed is to carefully look each over, get a survey done and do a thorough sea-trial. Then depending on all of those factors, decide from there. Good luck!

I would pick any you have listed so far unless you plan on keeping it for a loong time. My advice is go with a well known manufacturer with a good reputation for quality. They are practically giving boats away at pennies on the dollar. Good luck. Bob

25 G's will buy you a lot of boat in todays market!!!!! Like one of the other guys said dont buy any of those boats you are looking at ...... Get a well known brand such as Scarab,Fountain, Formula, Cig. /Have the boat surveyed and take some one with you that knows what he is talking about. If the boat looks nice and clean -ask for a test ride after the survey. Good luck with your pick. One last thing ---- call and get some insurance quotes --- that may change your mind as to what you buy.

If I had to pick one it would be the Challenger. However, i honestly think you need to keep looking.
