I think this is my current favorite vee bottom:

This thing is just insane to see in person. I saw it for the first time in Key West & just fell in love. What a bad ass vee, & unbelievable overhaul they gave this machine:

+1 that thing is sick and at the top of my list of V's. I am kinda torn over it though. The original paint on the donor boat was my favorite but the new one is incredible.

2007Fountain35 12-07-2011 10:39 AM

What kind of speed is she running with all that power?

Up to your usual cost conservative tastes!

Hustler40 12-07-2011 01:30 PM

Agreed. I saw it in key west and was in awe. I told the crew I was with that was my favorite boat of the weekend even with all the new awesome stuff down there.

kreed 12-07-2011 01:54 PM

LOTS of time and money sunk in that battleship. Bad azz boat, would love to own it, but could NEVER afford the fuel!

thisistank 12-07-2011 05:29 PM

And it can be yours for 600k! A third of the build cost.

Good to see you in KW B!

Cash Bar 12-07-2011 05:39 PM

The guy that owns that would have to have an "In" at the oil company. :lolhit:

Wild 12-07-2011 06:38 PM

It's listed in the dupont registry also

Amen

DMOORE 12-08-2011 02:08 AM

Beautiful boat for sure. What does one think the speed differential would be with staggered twins, compared to the triple setup? Just wondering out loud.

Darrell.

hotjava66 12-08-2011 06:35 AM

What does it run speed wise with that power, just curious.

Nauti Kitty 12-08-2011 08:20 AM

I agree. I think it looks nicer with the previous paint job. Not that there is anything wrong with the way it is now, just my personal preference.

jmoore1225 12-08-2011 10:10 AM

Owner says 116-118Mph in his video about it!!!

kvogt 12-08-2011 10:48 AM

stunning. One of my favorites in KW this year.

TBAG 12-08-2011 02:28 PM

Yeah, there was a big thread in the Apache forum about it. Personally I would have done the interior different even though I see why it was done that way. I like the old paint job better but it's still an awesome wave crusher that I can only dream of owning.

Running offshore boats for a little now and fuel unlike most people think is usually way down the list in major expenses relating to running the pizz out of these rides...

Nauti Kitty 12-08-2011 06:06 PM

When I look in that engine room fuel was not the first thing that crossed my mind

NK

Racerngr1 12-08-2011 08:11 PM

Looks like a fun ride:

Ok understand the extra props on the holders, but why the extra steering wheel? Very nice boat.

Fenderjack 12-08-2011 09:29 PM

This wasn't the boat that was on here that went in for a make over, they extended the wind screen is it??

This MACHINE is made for rough water. There could be times when you don't land how you'd like to. When that happens, you get thrown forward into the steering wheel and bend the crap out of it. I've been through 3 steering wheels on my RZR. It's a different sport, but the same principal.

VortechSS 12-09-2011 08:55 AM

That definitely rates up there pretty high on the "SICK" meter..

Im wondering if you would need three people to run it.. one to steer, one to throttle, & one to watch that BOAT LOAD of gauges!!!!!
