RIP and THANK YOU for those who paid the ultimate price during those times and tradgedy to protect the freedoms we now still enjoy!

This was a watershed moment in our history as a country. It taught us to never "push a rabid dog in a corner until you are prepared to deal with him" and always keep a open and wary eye on those countries who may and sometimes do have a dangerous agenda and actions!

Can we spell:
Iran,
North Korea,
Pakistan,
Russia, and yes'
CHINA!

Lets hope in our future we don't let history repeat itself on such a scale!!

Best Regards,
Raylar

Thank God our Aircraft carriers were out, the guy I learned a lot about mold piping from, John the welder, he piped all Aronows stuff, Donzi, Magnum and Cigarette and about everyone else in those days ,Was at Pearl Harbor and talked about it raising those ships, he said when they were hit on the side, they could just weld steel plates over the hole as it was pushed inward,

But if it went across the ship too the other side blasting it outward, then they had to work inside under water welding, the patch, as the side was blasted out and jagged, He said that was tough enough, But the bodies floating by with their eyes open, they pushed them away and kept going, nothing was going to stop them.

I read today that the Pearl Harbor survivors association meet for the last time today in pearl harbor. The association is being dispanded on Dec 31 2011. They are unable to find officers able to run it due to there ages and ailing health. This association was founded in 1958.

We can not thank those who served and our now leaving us enough.

If you ever go to Hawaii, be sure to take the boat ride over to the memorial. Go to the wall where all the sailor's names are listed and take the time to read every name. That will put it all in perspective for you...

Did that in '95. Very sobering experience.

There was a great show on History last night about the first 24 hours after Pearl Harbor.
