Dave- the trace program in Flexi8 is pretty good- have you tried the bezier function? Another trick you can do when trying to vectorize from a jpeg is to convert to cmyk and try tracing from one of the layers.

Would also like some info on that trace feature. This came out great 502 and i was able to finish out the rest of the logo. Thanks again.

Jay i have messed around with the trace feature in Flexi and yes its the best out of all the programs. Truth be told though i have almost no experience working with bitmaps. Just about everything i do is raw vector from scratch. I have had a little luck with some less complicated stuff in trace but this one stumped me because of how low resolution the original was. I am amazed how well 502 was able to do this. The facial details were not coming through in what i was doing and on these they are perfectly preserved.

Got a chance to add it to the rest of the logo i was working on, looks good.

Ryan if you need the whole nickle i can send it to you.
