71 Sutphen/Donzi?
 

My friend found this boat for sale that is advertized as a 1971 Sutphen/Donzi 19ft. He called the owner and he said that half of the paperwork said that it was a Sutphen and the other half said it was a Donzi. The owner also said something about Sutphen and Donzi merging in 71 so some of the paperwork got screwed up. Has anybody ever heard of or seen one of theese boats, or know anything about them?

I had a 1972 Sutphen 18 footer. They are not any relation to a Donzi, however it was one hell of a boat. The transom was about 4" thick. I had 15 wild years with that badboy.
People would always say "is that an old Donzi" :D :D :D

I called Sutphen (Richie and Kris) and they still have all of the info on every boat they made. They are real nice people! (941-574-1155)
