The SeaDoo being passed at 45 seconds is running 70. We were running 4300 rpm (out of 6400) at that point. PhilM and I will be happy to show you around. :drink: PS - You may want to spell check "Instagator"... ;) |
I love big power singles that can surprise a twin!:evilb:
Sold my Donzi 26ZX this Fall. It had an 850 and was a runner. It was a great boat till 85 or so. It was still good after that as long as one did not encounter a side wake! :party-smiley-004: |
The ultimate shocker on Chesapeake Bay is currently a RIB tender for a large sportfish. Roughly 15' long, it sports a huge Mercury outboard complete with Sportmaster lower on a hydraulic jackplate. I asked the owner how fast it ran. His reponse was: "I don't know; it runs out of driver at 82..."

hmm looks like Eickert to me in the picts but teh description doesn't include an exhaust system
(maybe you mean lightning performance group/ Eickert) Lightning marine makes true header - I see a manifold. I cant see that the engine comes with that though. Depending on how its dynod and what he has he may not have 700 ponies to put against the prop. UD These are true headers. Pause the first video after he opens the hatch. Definitely appear to be Lightnings. |

UD I am thinking the same thing, 700 HP should turn a 28 bravo to full RPM on a 27 fountain no problem. |

coming back in my sophmore season with more skill and a few tweaks done over the winter. i will b at lake hopatcong as soon as the weather warms and back in toms river for the summer starting memorial weekend.
still looking for some friendly competition, no nonsense guys. i plan to b running at least 85 with a goal of 90 and greater stability at speed when compared to last yr. please, no crap about someone you kno with a 40' cat that runs 150 in 5' swells. be serious guys. my best last yr was 81 with 26" mach and 85 with 28" b1. 3ppl, 3/4 tank and not turning enough rpms with both props. anyone with a 26" b1 give me a shout if interested in selling it or a trade. thanks guys. :drink: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmnD9..._order&list=UL |
