Airdock
I own a 19 Searay and use an airdock. It was a great solution, as I did not need to modify my dock to accommodate. Also, it was way less expensive than a rigid lift.
Be prepared for annual maintenance, particularly in salt water. Mainly bottom paint. I have been so pleased, I will be buying another for a larger boat a Sundancer 280. |
Paintman, you mentioned a river system. Our lifts work well in a mild current but somewhere around 3 knots can cause problems.

There are three of them at my marina in RI.. a 43 OL, 37iis fountain and a cig. I am ordering one inthe spring for my 31 sonic, 4100 brand new. the company said the price will not change before then

we have one with a 38zx donzi on it. Guy loves it. Worksa like a charm.

I am looking at a used one is there a way to tell which model it is. The owner doesn't know. Will a standard type D work on a 38 fountain. I know it is at its limit range.
|
For a 38' performance boat with a beam no more than 8.5' you need a D/E-Perf Model. A standard D-Model is too small. The difference is the bow chamber. Send an e-mail to [email protected], or call our number at www.airdock.com and I'll help you figure out what he has.
