Yeah but for some reason they aren't any faster than the Merc 700's. Sunsation found this out in their F4, boat does burn less fuel than with 700's.
I'm a big V-10 fan. I would think more would be sold if Merc didn't have such a stronghold on the industry... |

The other variable is the no frills/liner cabin. They only built two of those (Shogren built the other one, not sure what power it got or where it ended up). So if the boat is indeed faster than a Merc 700 boat was it because of the engines or the lighter hull? We won't know until another PR cabin Merc 700 boat is dialed in/tested. |

I do not remember the exact number on the Ilmor boat but 106 comes to mind. Maybe Chris from Sunsation will chime in.
