Hotel Suggestions for Miami Show

Does anyone have a recommendation for a hotel near the Miami show? Within walking distance if possible. The show's web site recommended the Chesterfield at $209 a night.

We are staying here...

Nothing fancy, but close to the show and got good reviews. Spoke with the manager and he was very very helpful. $99 a night. Not sure if he has anything left now, but if anyone is looking it might be worth a shot.

Finding a decent place to stay in Miami nearby the show with parking and at a reasonable price is damn near impossible. It's always been a dilemma for us. But Last time we stayed there, I actually found a place from where I didn't leave all pissed off. It was at the Beach Paradise Hotel, 600 Ocean Drive. It's beach-front, nothing fancy, but decent enough and reasonably priced. They have their own parking lot which is a huge plus in Miami. 3 minute cab ride to the show, short walk to Mango's. Give it a shot.

... fixed my broken link.

All the $99 rooms are gone, but will keep trying.

Thanks

Damn. Didn't figure they would last long, but it was worth a shot!

Cool! I'll just crash in your penthouse suite and bill room service to your tab. That way I can leave my sack lunch at home :party-smiley-004: :evilb::evilb:

Ok
I Have Been Going To Miami Show For Over 20 Years And Have Stayed All Over That Area
If You Find Something Affordable You Got To Sleep With Your Gun
Or You Spend Way To Much And The Service Sucks
A Couple Of Years Ago I Spent Some Time At The Miami Hilton Airport Hotel And They Where Great
So That Next Show We Stayed There
They Were Unbeleivably Great
We Travel With A Large Group
We Sometimes Drink A Bit Much
We Sometimes Get A Little Too Loud
And We Always Have Way To Much Fun
And The Hotel Always Ask If There Is Something They Can Do To Make Or Stay More Enjoyable
Its Not The Cost I Think Its Only $160.00 A Night
And Its About A 15 Minute Ride By Cab To The Show
They Have Rental Cars Available In House
But With Our Group They Ship Us Everywhere In There Bus At No Charge
They Take Care Of Our Diner Reservation At Different Resturants Each Night And Make Sure We Even Show
Then They Make Sure All Of Us Get Back
Non Of The Group Are Rich Famous People But It Doesnt Matter They Treat Us Like We Are King Every Time
The Miami Hilton Airport Is Great Hotel
Clean, Freindly, Casual Extremely Large Secure Property With Everything You Need
We Dont Even Get Rental Cars Anymore Becouse We Can Get One If We Need It At The Front Desk

You dont have to stay on south beach, the show has shuttles from the other sites as well that are free, you can find much nicer hotels near those sites than near the convention center.
Unless you are very familiar with the Miami style of demolition driving I would leave your cars at home. Trust me I lived there most my life and I dont drive when I go back there..

The Embassy Suites by the airport offers two room suites with complimentary shuttles, free full breakfast every morning and free open bar everyday 5-7pm for $199
