Default Potential Purchase

I have been looking at boats for the last 6 months or so and am getting closer to pulling the trigger on something. I would like to get it before this season starts in a few months. I really want to get a MCOB and there is a 2007 LaveyCraft 2950 NuEra for sale (on this forum) and others with twin 496HOs. Looks to be a very nice boat. Its listed in upper 60s. Can you guys tell me what would be a good price on that (its a buyers market from what I can tell) as well as anything I should watch out for on the Lavey? I will be using it primarily on a few different lakes (no salt). I assume you can still pull a tube and ski'er occasionally with this boat right? Thanks everyone.

PM me with any questions you have. The 29 you are referring to is on boattrader, it is appropriately price. It's the same as my boat, just with twin 496s instead of a single 525. Plus Uncle Dave knows more about Lavey boats than just about a company rep, even if you don't buy mine, you can't go wrong with a 27 or a 29.

Default 29 Lavey

Blackjack, the 29 you are looking at is a great boat at a nice price. I am on my 3rd Lavey, a 2750 MCBR. The build was finished in August of 2010. Look on Boattrader. There is 29 MCBR with twin 496's listed in the high 60's. I considered a 29 with twins before my current Lavey. If I had seen the one listed on Boattrader I would have purchased it and been $85,000 ahead.

You already know about Lavey's build quality and those 496's are about bullet proof. You will have a fast, good riding, family friendly boat. I predict you will love it. Call me if you have any questions. 865 705 4948. Quent

+ 1 He just lowered the price from $75k, that's a good deal.
