yep, either that or CLR (means calcium lime rust) works great and dissolves the buildup.

Thanks for all the input everyone. Going to try the Muratic acid first cause I have that laying around the house for the pool. Then go from there. The tips were like this when I bought the boat and just trying to shape things up a little at a time.
