III Speedmaster props

I have a #III drive 19 spline with the longer prop shaft. The hubs on the props that are on it are 6"s. Is there a way to get the 4" hub props on it?

I think arenson makes adaptors for it. They are not cheap if I remember correctly like 400 each.

I've seen some guys run spacers between the prop nut and the back of the prop so they could run the short hub props on a long hub shaft, don't know who makes them but you could probably have a machine shop make something.

Sounds like a lathe project, Dale :drink:

It should be pretty simple to build a couple spacers.

Sure... it would be a piece of cake.

Anybody have dimensions? What material to use? Bronze?

Shouldn't we be able to just make a spacer to go between the nut and the prop? What does the thrust washer look like? Been a while since I've payed any attention to a SSM...

My buddy had a setup like that. Short hub prop, made a spacer.
