Sutphen 30 "Bad Influence"
Guys, I am looking into purchasing this boat as my first powerboat and was wondering if anyone has any information, both positive and negative, or any stories about the boat. I would hate to have to drive all the way from New Orleans, to Miami just to find out it isn't everything I expected. FYI it is currently listed in classifieds. Any other suggestions on things I should keep an eye out for besides service records, stringers, transom, floor, etc? The purchase, pending an inspection, comes recommended from someone with years of experience, but I would like to get some information from you guys b/c of the vast wealth of knowledge and experience and I would like to learn from some of the expensive mistakes that have been made so I don't make the same.

I don't know the boat. But no year an not enough pictures. Cabin dash, Front bolsers or seats? I would get someone to look at it in Miami as said. Good luck from Baton Rouge.

No I don't have one. I had one years ago. 35 Cafe. I was running with Johnny Mac in His Top Gun. He passed away 3 years ago. I sure Miss My Best Friend. I'm looking at Cigs now. Hope to get one This New Year. I payed every thing off . Now I'm looking. Good luck with what ever You get. You will get great help on here. Happy New Year
