single gofast or twin c c ???
 

ok , so i haven't owned a boat in over 2 years and getting the itch :)
but now i have a wife and 3 year old girl ,
the pre wife and kid " me " wants a single engine offshore boat and then the more responsible side wants a twin o/b c c

they would both cost around $ 100 k

one of the big thing's i think about is if i get the go-fast how often will i be able to have real fun with it offshore with a 3 year old in it " not much "

Having owned both types I prefer the CC. Much more useful.

I have both and have to say I do enjoy both. For what you would be doing the CC with miny cuddy should be perfect. Plus that extra prop always helps if somethign goes south esp. with a wife and young child

the 6.7 is a 22' cat

Im having a 828 built, which is the new 27' model as we speak...after that we are looking at bringing larger models to the market. Mine will have a Carbon hardtop, rigged for fishing..and with the new 150 3.0 ltr mercs speeds will be around 60mph. These boats are very stout for their size.

Jim Gardiner is a pioneer in the business, 40+ years and is known for his prepeg resin infused, carbon, kevlar and vynilester...all heated and baked.. He was one of the founders of Egrets boats...each part that is made, is weighed and I get a sheet of what it was made of as well as a pic. Here is a pic of the floor hatches with a carbon fiber gloss finish. 2.5 pounds each..

i think im leaning to the cc but i don't fish and i like a little bit of style to it " bling " that boat look's very plain but i could only find one pic , if you have any other's please post when you can

I've never been a fan of CC's, go-fast for me.

when i was your age it was go-fast for me 2 but now i have to think about a 3 year old and can't afford 2 boat's :)
