Thumbs up Just off the dyno at tyler crocket shop

We just got off the dyno at tylers shop with a 509 ci 9 to 1 iron headed procharged m-1 blown big block .
The only piece of the combo i was undecided about was the cam so tyler told me of a grind that he uses and that it has worked well in the past on combos he has done.
I also did some fuel rail upgrades and regulator mods.
All said and done we made 760 hp at 5200 rpm 815 tq at 4800 rpm and it idles at 850 rpm and this was done at 6 lbs of boost.
All the tuning tyler did was all on the sefe side so we left a little on the table but better to be safe than blown up .
Just thought i would pass on a simple combo that made good power on low boost and pump gas but i think the cam was the one piece that helped a lot with long flat tq this thing made.

Whats up bob.
Because this a project another shop had that went bad and it made no power and it went south so we got pulled in to help him out and the heads were new so i had them checked out and after we did a new short block on they went.
Just trying to save him a little cash.

My target was to make about 725 to 750 and i figured we could do it with the heads he had it just did a little better in tq department than i thought it would.

Thanks Gary, my guess was "budget". Are you going to make the OPA party in February?

How big are the heads and would you be willing to divulge some specs on the cam? Shelf grind or custom?
