I got a 1998 yukon 4x4 4door and I never have had a light out yet. **** I even live in the desert where one any given day it would be 100+ Maybe GMC put in a differnt bulb than Chevy

I appreciate someone bringing this subject up. I just started noticing it and I thought I was going nuts. Now, I might still be going nuts, but at least I'm not the only one who thinks all the DRL's are burning out.

Yep my wifes 2001 Suburban has a drivers side light out.

Catman they really work good. It's easier for people to see lights than a car that blends into the back ground. Same reason most states make motorcycles run with a headlight on. If you don't want them you can turn them off.


No problems with the older body style we have a 1997. Like they said full the fuse if you don't want them on, the one click on the e brake turns them off but that lights the red brake light on the dash which would bother the hell out of me.
