Trim the boat a little more then you would normally to get the nose light... It does not bother me however sometimes it makes my passengers kinda uncomfortable. I think with the bigger power the boat will actually be more stable as I will not need to drive the boat as loose to get the same speed...

My 36 Nor-Tech feels real nice in the 40s ! Every time i had someone new in the boat they said the boat felt no different from 100 to 140. You can never have enough power! I would love to have 1075s even if you only go full throttle 3% of the time, that 3% is the only part of the ride you remember. On Sundays i would always pin the throttles for about one minute and all week at work all i could think about is that amazing feeling. Once i get in the 30s i actually trim down a little bit and the boat locks in solid. GOOD LUCK BRO!

Shop up the street has a set of the 850 to 1330 Whipple kits done by Mark Boost and is gretting ready to fire the motors soon. I'll repot back to the class on how they run, they sure look good.

I had to change the gear setup also, we are running 1.35 now. The boat has a couple of MPH left in it, we just ran out of lake that day. Engines are out of the boat currently to be freshen up, we will give it another shot first of April when we get her back together.

I'm curious to this as well since I have not heard any feed back on the conversion on the 1075...

no reason to run a solid roller at that power level unless you enjoy adjusting valves!!
