How to get rid of sea weed?
 

I have a problem with sea weed at my camp. I need suggestions on how to remove it and prevent regrowth. It starts in 4' of water and goes to 7'. Exactly in the area I dock the boat, and I don't have sea strainers. Its thick stuff that grows from bottem to surface. I've seen the rake in Overtons, but seems like there must be something better than a $90 rake.:confused:

Oh yeah, the camp is at Port Bay off of Lake Ontario if that matters.
