Awsome cats
Does anyone know when they went out of production.The sizes of the cats that they did make,reason for shut down.Or are they still open.Thanks JOHN SR

IIRC the owners ran into some legal issues five or six years ago and barely escaped ahead of the law. They may have been apprehended I don't know. I don't think the shop has been reopened.

do a search in the awesome section, they made 26, 31 & 38 cats up until '04, I had a 31 & my brother had a 26 for a number of years, good boats... my .02

Funny you bringing this subject up.
When I was lookin for stuff re Darr a few days back I saw he sued a guy named Daniel Mintz.
When you look up his name on here it brings up threads where he bought or whatever Awesome Boats.
Then all of a sudden he vanishes.
If you look hard you will find 3 pages of legal cases in Missouri with his name on them.
I asked in another thread about this topic and no one responded.

Hulls and interiors were good. Rigging was the weak link IMO.
